For our November GeriActives outing, November 17th, we’re continuing our focus on our Florida history. This adventure will be a two parter: PART 1 We will explore De Leon Springs State Park

We will begin our visit with the 50-minute De Leon Springs River Cruise. Upon our return, we will step over to the Old Sugar Mill Pancake House and gather around special tables with built-in griddles where we will cook our own BRUNCH of All You Can Eat Pancakes (with all the fixings)

Following our meal, we’re off to DeLand, where we will step back in time to take "one of the best holiday tours in America". PART 2 Christmas at the Stetson Mansion in DeLand. We will take a self-guided tour of “one of “the most spectacular holiday homes of America’s Gilded Age.”

You can sign up for this adventure by texting Vicki Iliff at 847-849-0772. Since our bus is limited to 15 people, including our driver, once we have that many, we will start a Carpool list.

November 14th! We will be making 50 fruitcakes and selling them on a first come first served basis. If you would like to pre-order yours, please let us know by signing up either in the Fellowship Hall or at the back of the Church. If you have a friend or neighbor who would like to order, please add that number to your order.

To help defray the cost of supplies for making the fruitcakes we are asking for donations of the following supplies:

2 - 5lb bags of Flour

3 - 2lb. bags of Sugar

5 dozen Eggs

5 pounds of Butter

We will be making the fruitcakes on Tuesday, the 10th of November. We ask that you bring in any donations of supplies no later than Sunday, the 8th of November.

We are also asking for donations of your favorite Casserole that were so popular last year, we sold out. Please bring your Casseroles to the Fellowship Hall on the 10th of November. Please bring 2 copies of the name of Casserole. Shirley Powell and Judy Brooks will be collecting the Casseroles on Nov. 10th. Fruitcakes and Casseroles will be available in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday Nov. 14th from 9:00 am to Noon.

Every Wednesday - 5:30 P.M. - Room 103 with Reverend Bill! The group learns about and discusses the scripture for the coming Sunday!

Park in the grassy lot in the back of the church and enter through the back door!

Join the class and learn sign language in a fun and supportive environment! No prior experience needed—everyone is welcome to participate and practice communication through sign.

Carolyn McCullough leads the class every Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Parlor!

Join us Thursdays at 8:45 as the children learn Bible stories and songs to praise the Lord!
