On April 24th, there was a fire at the HEART Village, located at Warner University in Lake Wales. “HEART” stands for Hunger Education And Resource Training and is an interdenominational training center designed to prepare people to live and serve effectively in developing communities around the world.

The fire completely destroyed the village's brooder shed and all the chickens and ducks were lost. We are collecting donations to help Restore the Roost. There will be a basket on the Welcome Table at the back of the Sanctuary for your contributions.

On Friday, June 12, our church will host 120 campers and volunteers from the Lake Wales Care Center Stay-at-Home Work Camp for lunch. We need your help to make this event a success!

We're looking for volunteers to bake brownies for dessert. If you can provide a batch of brownies, please sign up at the Welcome Table in the back of the Sanctuary or contact Patti Berry at 863-604-3498.

Please bring your brownies to the church by 11:00 A.M. on Friday morning.

Choices Pregnancy Center is sponsored by the Lake Wales Care Center. Their vision is that every pregnant family in Lake Wales would view abortion as unnecessary because of the love and support of the community. If you were around for the first GeriActives outing, you will remember that the group took a boat cruise on the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. We had such a good time on that outing, we are going on a SUNSET CRUISE on the Chain of Lakes for our 50th (can you believe it?) outing.

On Thursday, June 25th, we will begin our adventure with dinner at Tanner’s Lakeside Restaurant and Bar (1006 S. Lake Howard Dr., Winter Haven) We will then board our two boats for our sunset cruise. The charge for the cruise is $30 per person. Please come prepared with cash.

Every Wednesday - 5:30 P.M. - Room 103 with Reverend Bill! The group learns about and discusses the scripture for the coming Sunday!

Join the class and learn sign language in a fun and supportive environment! No prior experience needed—everyone is welcome to participate and practice communication through sign.

Carolyn McCullough leads the class every Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Join us Thursdays at 8:45 as the children learn Bible stories and songs to praise the Lord!

The children will be invited to our December 14th service to sign Jesus Loves Me with our signing group
