First UMC of Lake Wales, Florida is a congregation of The United Methodist Church, which stands within the mainline Protestant tradition of Christianity. We have a long history in this pioneering citrus town which is home to the world-famous Bok Tower Gardens. Our worship style is traditional, held in our beautiful traditional sanctuary at 10:30 AM on Sundays, both in-person and live-streaming, led by our Pastor, Liturgist ministry and Chancel choir. In keeping with United Methodism’s generous orthodoxy, we are a diverse and loving congregation across the theological spectrum.
