Hospital Visitation
The Pastor makes hospital visits. Today’s world with its privacy laws don’t always make it easy to track people when they are hospitalized. Current policies discharge patients much more quickly than before. What we need most from you is timely information, the name of the hospital, and the legal first name of the patient if they are known by a middle name or nickname. The room # is not important because all hospitals today require EVERYONE to check in at the desk. As long as the Pastor has the patient’s legal name, room information is always forthcoming.
Lay Care Team
This group of special volunteers makes phone calls, sends cards and notes, and in safe conditions makes in-person visits to our homebound members and nursing home residents. We could always use more team members and if you feel called to join in, please contact the church office at (863) 676-2516 .
